BonLook x la Vie en Rose

The "BonLook x la Vie en Rose" contest (the "Contest") begins on January 26, 2024, and ends at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on February 9, 2024 (the "Contest Period").  

There is one (1) phase to this Contest: A random draw of one (1) participant from all the eligible entries during the Contest Period.

ELIGIBILITY

The Contest is open to authorized residents of Canada who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry. 

Ineligible are employees, agents, and commercial representatives of BonLook Inc. ("BonLook"), as well as their advertising agencies, order processing centers, and Prize suppliers, each of their parent, affiliated, or related companies, suppliers of products or services related to the Contest, as well as their immediate family members (defined as parents, siblings, children, and spouses, regardless of where they reside) and persons living with them (related or not). 

Also ineligible are employees, agents, and commercial representatives of Groupe la Vie en Rose ("la Vie en Rose"), as well as their advertising agencies, order processing centers, and Prize suppliers, each of their parent, affiliated, or related companies, suppliers of products or services related to the Contest, as well as their immediate family members (defined as parents, siblings, children, and spouses, regardless of where they reside) and persons living with them (related or not).

There are one (1) prize to win.

The prize is valued at a total of $1,000 for a single winner.

THE PRIZE MUST BE ACCEPTED AS IS. ALL AMOUNTS STATED ARE IN CANADIAN DOLLARS (CAD). THE PRIZE CANNOT BE SOLD OR TRANSFERRED AND IS NOT REDEEMABLE. BONLOOK RESERVES THE RIGHT, AT ITS SOLE DISCRETION, TO SUBSTITUTE THE PRIZE FOR A PRIZE OF EQUAL OR GREATER VALUE. WITH REGARD TO THE PRIZE, BONLOOK MAKES NO REPRESENTATION AND GIVES NO WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. LA VIE EN ROSE RESERVES THE RIGHT, AT ITS SOLE DISCRETION, TO SUBSTITUTE THE PRIZE FOR A PRIZE OF EQUAL OR GREATER VALUE. WITH REGARD TO THE PRIZE, LA VIE EN ROSE MAKES NO REPRESENTATION AND GIVES NO WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

At the end of the Contest Period, a random draw from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period will take place on the week of February 12 at 4020 St-Ambroise, Montreal, Quebec, Canada. BonLook’s team will reach out to the winners by email. The chances of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period.

By participating in the Contest, the participant declares that they are eligible to win the Prize in accordance with these rules and releases BonLook and la Vie et Rose, as well as all their directors, officers, owners, partners, shareholders, employees, agents, representatives, heirs, and assigns, from any liability related to this Contest, or the use, misuse, or possession of any Prize or any travel related thereto. The Prize will only be awarded to the verified winning person. 

BonLook will attempt to contact the potential winners by email (using the email provided in the entry form) within twenty-four (24) hours of the selection. 

BonLook and/or la Vie en Rose will not be held responsible for unsuccessful attempts to contact a potential winner. For Prize delivery, it may take 2 to 4 weeks after the first successful contact. 

In the event of a dispute regarding an entry, the entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder (i.e., the person assigned to the email address by an Internet service provider, an online service provider, or another organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address).

The personal information you provide when entering this Contest is provided to BonLook, la Vie en Rose, and their authorized agents. BonLook and la Vie en Rose will use and disclose the personal information you provide when entering the Contest for the sole purpose of administering the Contest. By accepting a Prize, the winner consents to BonLook and la Vie en Rose using, without further compensation or notice, their names, cities, provinces, territories, or states of residence, and images for any advertising activity related to the Contest, in any current or future format or media, including but not limited to the Web, for an unlimited number of times and perpetually.

CANCELLATION/TERMINATION/SUSPENSION/AMENDMENT

Any material used in the Contest that has been tampered with, mutilated, modified, falsified, reproduced, obtained illegitimately, is unreadable, or contains or illustrates computer, software, printing, production errors, or any other error will be canceled. BonLook or la Vie en Rose reserve the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice or obligation if, in the sole opinion of BonLook or la Vie en Rose, a factor interferes with the proper conduct of the Contest as outlined in these rules. 

Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, if the Contest, or any part of it, cannot be executed as planned for any reason, including, but not limited to, a computer virus, bug, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, printing errors, programming errors, download errors, technical malfunction, or any other cause beyond the control of BonLook or la Vie en Rose, which, in their sole opinion, could compromise or undermine the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Contest, BonLook or la Vie en Rose may, at their sole discretion, cancel any suspicious entry and: (a) terminate the Contest or any part thereof; (b) amend or suspend the Contest or any part thereof to address the issue and subsequently resume the Contest, or part thereof, in a manner that best fits with the spirit of these rules; and/or (c) award the Prize among eligible non-suspicious entries received up to the time of the issue, while adhering to the winner declaration criteria described earlier. Only the Prize mentioned earlier will be awarded. 

In the event of an error of any kind, whether it be technological, printing, production, human, or otherwise, or any other event resulting in a greater number of Prizes claimed than the number indicated earlier, the unawarded Prize may be awarded in a draw among eligible participants who have not yet received a Prize. In such a draw, the selected participant must correctly answer, within a prescribed time, without any assistance, mechanical, electronic, or otherwise, a mathematical skill question that will be asked by phone, email, or mail, and sign any required document before being declared a winner.

Winning a Prize is subject to the requirements established herein. All entries become the property of BonLook and la Vie en Rose; they will not be returned or acknowledged. Mass entries, automated entries, entries submitted by a third party, and late, incomplete, fraudulent, unreadable, or delayed Prize claims will be canceled. All entries and Prize claims are subject to verification. By participating in the Contest, participants agree to abide by these Official Rules. Decisions by BonLook or la Vie en Rose related to the Contest will be final and binding. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal and provincial laws, state laws, and municipal regulations. BonLook or la Vie en Rose reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to disqualify any person who tampers with or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or the Contest Web pages, who violates the Official Rules, or who acts with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass anyone else. 

WARNING: ANY DELIBERATE ATTEMPT BY A PARTICIPANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DAMAGE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST CONSTITUTES A VIOLATION OF CIVIL AND CRIMINAL LAW, AND BONLOOK AND LA VIE EN ROSE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO INITIATE LEGAL PROCEEDINGS AND CLAIM DAMAGES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. In the event of a dispute concerning the identity of the person who submitted an entry, the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of registration will be deemed the participant. The "authorized account holder" is the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet service provider, service provider, or other person or organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the account associated with the submitted email address. The potential winner may be required to provide evidence that they are the authorized account holder. All information provided by the participant must be complete and accurate. BonLook and/or la Vie en Rose will not be held responsible for any computer problems or Prize claims sent late, incomplete, or in error. 

By participating in the Contest, participants acknowledge that BonLook, la Vie en Rose, and their parent companies, affiliates and related companies, their advertising agencies, order processing centers, and Prize suppliers, as well as all their directors, officers, owners, partners, shareholders, employees, agents, and representatives (collectively the "Released Parties") have no liability - and must be considered by participants as released from all liability - for injuries, losses, and damages of any kind (including direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages) caused to a person or property resulting from the following: a) a Prize, including acceptance, participation, use, or misuse of the Prize; b) participation in the Contest, including access to the website and its use; c) any complaint based on the right to privacy and personal information, defamation, or the delivery of merchandise. 

Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the Released Parties are not responsible for the following: (a) any information whose inaccuracy or incompleteness is caused by users of BonLook and/or la Vie en Rose's Contest landing page or by equipment or programs used for or associated with the Contest or by a technical or human error that may occur in the processing of Contest entries; (b) the unavailability of a server, service provider, online systems, telephone networks, or telephone lines, or any other connection, as well as an interruption and disconnection; (c) theft, destruction, loss, alteration of entries, or unauthorized access to them; (d) any problem, malfunction, or failure of networks or telephone lines, computers, systems, servers, or online providers, computer equipment, software, as well as viruses or bugs; (e) a communication problem or a scrambled transmission; (f) any transmission or reception failure by BonLook and/or la Vie en Rose, for any reason, including, but not limited to, congestion on the Internet or on a specific website, the combination of the two, or technical incompatibility; (g) damage to a user's computer equipment (software or hardware) caused by participating in the Contest or by downloading Contest-related material; (h) printing, distribution, programming, or production errors, as well as any other error or malfunction of any nature, human, mechanical, electronic, or other cause; or (i) technical errors or omissions, images, typography, or writing contained herein.
